Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions of the Wharf Hotels Rewards corporate bookers recognition programme is subject to change, amendments, and/or cancellation in part or in whole at any time with or without prior notice to Wharf Hotels Rewards members.

Glossary of terms:-

  • Wharf Hotels Rewards hereinafter called WHR.
  • WHR members hereinafter called Members.
  • WHR Award Points hereinafter called Point(s).
  • WHR Rewards Vouchers hereinafter called Reward Vouchers
  • WHR Service Center hereinafter called CSC.
  • Management Company of Maqo Hotels, Marco Polo Hotels or Niccolo Hotels hereinafter called Wharf Hotels.
  • Hotels managed by Wharf Hotels hereinafter called Hotel(s).

1. WHR Membership and Points

  • Membership is for the sole purpose of earning points and must have the written consent of the applicant’s employer, whose company currently holds a valid corporate account or an events contract with any Maqo Hotel, Marco Polo or Niccolo hotel.
  • Members cannot earn WHR Points for stays at a Maqo Hotels, Marco Polo Hotels or Niccolo Hotels as a guest, and enjoy the benefits of another loyalty programme operated by/ partnered with Wharf Hotels where benefits are extended. Loyalty programmes operated by Wharf Hotels include and are not limited to Maqo DISCOVERY, Marco Polo DISCOVERY, Niccolo DISCOVERY, Leaders Club and WHR.
  • Unless otherwise established, WHR membership and benefits are non-transferable and valid for individual Members only.
    • Individual membership – benefits and points earned within the programme are the property of the member, and cannot be transferred and/or redeemed by another person.
    • Company membership - benefits and points earned within the programme are the property of the contracted corporate company. An appointed member is deemed the administrator of the membership, and upon their departure from the company, their replacement is able to manage account points with written notice from the company.

  • Wharf Hotels reserves the right to change, adjust or cancel all or any part of this programme at any time without prior notice.

2. Membership Details and Accumulation of Points

  • Members are provided a login, password and protected access to their online account.
  • It is the Member’s duty to update their profile details and keep their online account credentials confidential. Wharf Hotels are not responsible for any loss, missing points or fraudulent redemptions from a Member’s account.

3. Award Points

  • Membership number must be quoted when making reservations to ensure correct earning of Points.
  • Revenue generated from materialised rooms, meetings and events are converted into applicable points based on the local currency.
  • Rewards redemption can begin at any time upon reward redemption threshold has been reached or at any intervals so decided by the Member.
  • Reward redemptions are managed through a Member’s online profile. Digital reward vouchers are delivered to members via email notification and can be directly downloaded from a Member’s profile.
  • Claims for missing points must be submitted through member’s online account or via hotel account sales team within 60 days of room checkout date or event folio settlement date.
  • Programme year available points will carry an expiry date and redemption must be complete on or before the date of point expiry, which is 3 calendar months after the membership year-end.
Hong Kong - HKD

Room

HKD 8 = 1 point

One Wharf Hotels Rewards Point will be earned for every HKD 8 room revenue generated (excludes service charge and tax) at any Maqo Hotels, Marco Polo Hotels or Niccolo Hotels.

Meetings, Banquets & Events

HKD 16 = 1 point

One Wharf Hotels Rewards Point will be earned for every HKD 16 of revenue generated from materialised meetings, banquets and or events (excludes service charge and tax) at any Maqo Hotels, Marco Polo Hotels or Niccolo Hotels.

China - RMB

Room

RMB 8 = 1 point

One Wharf Hotels Rewards Point will be earned for every RMB 8 room revenue generated (excludes service charge and tax) at any Maqo Hotels, Marco Polo Hotels or Niccolo Hotels.

Meetings, Banquets & Events

RMB 16 = 1 point

One Wharf Hotels Rewards Point will be earned for every RMB 16 of revenue generated from materialised meetings, banquets and or events (excludes service charge and tax) at any Maqo Hotels, Marco Polo Hotels or Niccolo Hotels.

Philippines - PHP

Room

PHP 50 = 1 point

One Wharf Hotels Rewards Point will be earned for every PHP 50 of room revenue generated (excludes service charge and tax) at any Maqo Hotels, Marco Polo Hotels or Niccolo Hotels.

Meetings, Banquets & Events

PHP 100 = 1 point

One Wharf Hotels Rewards Point will be earned for every PHP 100 of revenue generated from materialised meetings, banquets and or events (excludes service charge and tax) at any Maqo Hotels, Marco Polo Hotels or Niccolo Hotels.


4. Rewards

  • Rewards are non-negotiable and cannot be redeemed for cash or replaced if digital vouchers expire, are deleted or misplaced.
  • All Rewards programme benefits and rewards are awarded where applicable and shall be considered as null and void where prohibited by law.
  • All reward redemptions are deemed to be submitted by the Member and shall be confirmed by hotel.
  • The online reward redemption process is visible to the Member and confirmations will be sent to their registered email within seven working days of redemption.
  • Digital reward vouchers can be downloaded from a Member’s online profile when ready.

5. Reward Vouchers

  • Reward vouchers are valid for use within the terms and conditions specified on the voucher.
  • Reward vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with special discounts, during public holidays and or during periods of tickets sales. Members are advised to make enquiries and reservations with the hotel.
  • Any unused value of a Reward Voucher is non-refundable or redeemable for cash.
  • Acceptance of Reward Vouchers is subject to the discretion of the issuing Hotel. The offer and use of Reward Vouchers are subject to change and/or cancellation without prior notice to Members.
  • Shall there be any dispute with the actual utilisation of the reward vouchers, the records per programme system shall prevail.
